Fresh off the back of their debit ep on OFF Recordings, LEFTWING & KODY touch down on ALiVE for a scorching hot EP. ‘Get Down’ is a power bruiser of a track, all muscular drums, big drops and heavy b-lines. The subtler but no less effective ‘Let Go’ follows, a skippy rhythm underpinning the duos tight production skills. ‘Tough Jam’ harnesses the flavour of London’s pirate radio in the 90′s; jacked up drums, head noddin’ bass and attention to deal that will set the floor alight. Rounding off, ‘I Need You’ settles into a sweet groove with cut up vocals to give the package a more melodic send off.
